What We Do

Live Storytelling Events
We gather communities - children, youth, parents, and elders - for evenings of traditional folktales, myths, legends, and proverbs. From Anansi the Spider to moon myths and real-life wisdom, our stories are shared in multiple languages and styles.

Youth Story Circles
Young people are encouraged to listen, ask questions, and even share their own stories. These sessions boost self-expression, confidence, and creativity - while keeping cultural traditions alive.

Performance & Visual Storytelling
We blend oral storytelling with theatre, music, dance, and art - bringing age-old tales to life in new and exciting ways. Some stories are reimagined; others are preserved as they’ve been told for centuries.

Intergenerational Dialogues
Tales By Moonlight opens space for elders to pass down values, history, and life lessons through storytelling - while also hearing from younger voices who carry those stories forward.
